Apple's own Apple Store usually does some deals via its 'Refurb Store' from 10am on Wednesday.
Other than that you may wish to call a few of the larger Mac retailers (MacWarehouse etc) to see if they have any 'old' stock.
Beware of eBay though, sadly Apple's goods appear to attract more than their fair share of scamsters.
Good luck, and good choice!

Haven't got a finger in any Apple pie (see what I did there?), but I found www.2ndchancepc.co.uk very helpful and professional
The Apple refurb store is open every wednesday from 10. You occasionally get a bargain in there.

I am well aware of the Ebay scammers.
Contrary to the popular opinion, there are plenty of legitimate businesses who trade on Ebay. Some great deals to be had from IT clearance companies.
I am finding, but there are quite a few " Email my yahoo address or AOL address for the deal I dont respond otherwise " type listings.

I've got a spare barge pole to not touch things like that, if you'd like to borrow it.
The decent traders are fairly easy to spot, usually with more than 4000 feedback.
