Activesync not syncing my calendar to PDA

Just sync'd up my PDA with my PC (Activesync 3.8) Windows XP SP2 and Outlook 2003, and noticed that it has stopped syncing the calendar but everything else ok.

If I go to options on AS, the calendar does not have a tick box and when I highlight the settings button it is greyed out. The only thing I can find it that for some reason it has disabled the calendar sync.

I've deleted and recreated a partnership a few times tonight, but it still won't let me sync the PC calendar to the PDA.

Any suggestions?

Nothing silly like the clocks are one hour different I suppose?

no - I'm going to remove activesync completely and re-install that.

Soft reset on PDA?
Seems to cure mine of most ills.

Just a thought, have you re-named the 'Calendar' folder in outlook?

umpteen times, before and after re-installing activesync to no avail.

no - it was working a while back but I only noticed last night that the calendar was not syncing when I added a new appointment on the PC.

I might have to do a hard reset on the PDA tonight and see if that clears the problem.

When the PDA is not connected to the PC, the calendar option is available but as soon as it syncs to the PC the option gets greyed out.

The only thing I can think of that has changed recently is that I've upgraded the ROM image on the XDAIIi which now includes blackberry support.

I'll try with the new ROM and if that still has problems I'll then try with the previous ROM version. I suspect that this may be the problem.....

Success - well partly. o2 tech support have confirmed that there is a problem syncing the calendar to the XDAIIi when the latest ROM version is installed which includes blackberry support.

Unfortunately, they have only just this morning published an internal tech email regarding the problem - so it's either wait for a fix or put an earlier version of the ROM.
