Can anyone tell me how to do a mailshot from Microsoft Outlook? (with Small business manager)
It will let me do one leter at a time, but I have 600 to go out!!!

I also have ACT!, which could do the mailshot, but then I'd have to get the contacts list off
The Outlook and onto ACT! - -How do I do that!?

Any help most gratefully received

Andy

You can get Outlook and ACT! to share a contact database via ACT! Mail.

It will be easiest to power it from ACT!

If you look in the help file there is a section about it.

o add address books in Outlook 2000

1 Open Microsoft Outlook.

2 From the Tools menu, click Services.

3 In the Services dialog box, click the Services tab, and then click Add.

A list of available services appears.

4 Select ACT! Address Book, and then click OK.

5 In the ACT! Address Books dialog box, choose either Address Book 1, Address Book 2, or Address Book 3 to indicate which address book you are adding.

6 Click Browse to select the ACT! database that includes the address book you want to use in Outlook.

7 Enter the ACT! database administrator's User Name and Password.

8 Click OK through the messages until you are finished.

The Outlook Mailbox screen appears with the Attach to ACT! button added to the menu bar.

To add address books in Outlook 2002

1 Open Microsoft Outlook.

2 From the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.

The E-mail Accounts wizard opens.

3 In the E-mail Accounts pane, select Add a new directory or address book, and then click Next.

4 In the Directory or Address Book Type pane, select Additional Address Books, and then click Next.

5 Select the ACT! Address book, and click Next.

The ACT! Address Book(s) pane appears where you can select up to three databases to add.

6 Click Browse to select the ACT! database that includes the address book you want to use in Outlook.

7 If required, enter the ACT! database administrator's User Name and Password.

8 Click OK through the messages until you are finished.
