Just joined a new company - really small satellite office in the UK.

Turns out my Dell Latitude D610 didn't come with a case, so I need to get hold of one by Monday morning as I'm off to Paris for the week!

The Dell online shop is quoting 3-5 days which I can't risk, anyone got any good recommendations for the £50 that Dell would charge? All on expenses of course!

Get yourself down to a suitcase type shop or your nearest PC world. They'll have a range of cases from traditional to rucksack for somewhere near the £50 you were about to spend. Never ever forget that the weight of a laptop case is directly proportional to the number of pockets you can stuff with paperwork and other rubbish just because you can..

Get something anonymous as well. You don't want to advertise what the bag contains.

I'd go for an AirBag, you can get them at PCWorld.
They don't scream "I have a laptop" and have good protection for travelling.

Sadly as I'm presales a rucksack was out, need to look professional

PCWorld came up trumps with a leather Targus case which is RRP £70 for £50, and they are chucking in a free small optical mouse
