I don't think cars generally are trace-able, unless bugged specifically or you get the breakdown locator thingy as a factory option. Kids in bedrooms I think generally get cought by either signing code with a known alias (for the fame) or boasting after the fact, or getting dobbed in by other kids (for the fame). Men accessing kiddie-porn get caught by them giving their credit card details, name & address over in exchange for said kiddie porn
, and/or ISP records tied to their phone number. As for the terrorist website statements etc., I think the chances of Al-Quieda's ISP rolling over on them are slim to none Even if they do say that X website update was done by Y user from Z IP and phone line, that's still not likley to be a big X marks the spot on Al-Zakawi's crib, cause he'l probably be getting his mates to do it for him
