XP Repair Install

Hi peeps

Does anyone know how I do a repair install? I have a couple of issues like Windows exlorer has lost its tool bars for some strange reason and the machine hangs a hell of a lot.

What I would like to be able to do is reinstall just Windows XP.

I run a Dell that's about 1 year old which was originally supplied without SP2 so SP2 has been installed from Microsofts web site.

If I do a repair install will it leave all my other programs installed?

Yes a repair install will leave your applications and data intact, but you need a pucca Windows XP disc and not the manufacturers recovery disc in order to perform this procedure.
