DVD of TG, and squishing to MPEG
Discussion
Hello folks,
Today, I rescued from the telly DVD recorder the TG stuff! (Sunday 21 Nov.05), a few fellow TVR members wanted to see much siliness about "red smoke tyres". I have all of the show, so if any is needed, I have this on my PC. However its in True DVD format.
Can someone please suggest a simple solution in freeware that can take DVD and squish parts into MPG or MPEG?
Uploads will follow!
Bluddy ell, its after work, and I sshhhhhhhh! work with IT! But !!!HELP!!!!

Fired up the Windoze box, its not like its a sloath. P4 architecture DDR 2 (2Gb) etc. Installed DVD shrink, and it gets 25% through and hangs!!!
Frustrated as it didn't work, and I need to sleep! I am sure we should hibernate this time of year
Tried again before work this morning, I cant see where it converts to MPEG.
Anyone know of a package?

Justin, try TMPGenC, available from www.tmpgenc.net/e_main.html
I think that will do it?
Have a look at this site.... www.videohelp.com/guides.php?guideid=626&howtoselect=4;62#626
