How do you "clicky here"

Can someone tell me "in simple terms" how you change a link on here to sat "click here" or "picture" instead of the link.

I know how to do it via the hyperlink drop down in word or other progs but if I select a link now whilst posting, then right clicking only opens the, undo, cut, copy paste box.

Help appreciated.

Can't seem to get it to work, is the updown line made by pressing the shift and back slash key. Thats how I did it but the symbol on that key on my board is actually this one ¦ and to make that one ¦ I have to press ctrl, alt and the top left key above the tab key. Is my keyboard back to front?

The second one is nearly right, you just need to add the 'http://' to the url
