SKY Digital - I've lost alot of channels?
Discussion
We ditched our Sky subscription earlier this year and have just watched the Free to Air channels. I also unplugged the box from the phone line. I have been tinkering around with the phone sockets in our house and while I was at it, thought I would re-plug the digibox to the phone line and do a software upgrade (its a Panasonic box). The upgrade went OK so all done I thought and unplugged the phone line.
Now I have discovered that I have lost Channel 4, Channel 5 and all the adult channels (not that I watch them!!!) from the Electronic Program Guide. I re-did the software upgrade (unplug digibox and switch back on whilst holding Back Up button) - no difference. I have since worked out that the software upgrades probably don't even require the phone line!
N.B. I still have my old viewing card and this has been left in the box the whole time.
So ladies and gentlemen, can anyone explain why I have lost these channels (and possibly more) - it was quite useful to have them as the reception was better than over the analogue aerial.

Worked it out. Pulled out the viewing card, reset the box, and the channels all came back. Then put card back in and all OK.
Yes, our Freeview box seems to lose all the channels if we unplug it from the mains, but seems quite quick at scanning and getting them all back - and all upto date!
