Dell Ultrasharp 2405FPW 24" widescreen LCD

[ThatPhilBrettGuy]

Anyone got one/used one? 1920*1200 for £700 looks like a rather good deal.

I have one. I got it for a bit less through work. It is fabulous. Buy one. You will not regret it.

Hi

I recently bought 3 and have had no problems. The 2405 is an excellent screen and I thoroughly recommend it.

I may be able to get you a better price so drop me an email via PH or www.cantarus.co.uk if you're interested and I'll get a quote for you.

Cheers.

Lee.

One place I work in's got quite a few, they're absolutley frikkin awesome. Don't pay £700 though... one batch they had new for £550 ea. off ebay.

Ps: DVI = definatley, had trouble getting a clear pic on analogue VGA on some of the machines. And don't bother with the clip-on speaker strip thingies, they're crap.

I got one for a steal (£500) directly from Dell a few weeks ago while they were having a special offer. Fantastic monitor, but you do need DVI to get the best from it. Some older nVidia cards can't drive it at the full resolution over DVI, so if you have one of these cards make sure it's a 6xxx or better.
