Converting Video to MP4

[Tripps]

As I've got a video iPod on the way thought I'd start getting my catalogue ready to watch.

I've got a lot of WMV and AVI music videos I've like to convert so was wondering if anyone recommended any good tools - ideally free.

Even better would be something that could also rip DVDs too.

Thanks

Strange, I've just asked something similar

Thanks Neil - you don't know how much better my trips on the tube will be now

Now, has anyone got Emmanuelle in Space in MP4 format...
