There are various places in the computer where it guesses what you are trying to type in a field. For instance in a Google search or when you are filling your address in a form. How can all of that predictive stuff be cleared from the system? Any guidance much appreciated!

hmm dunno that one .. I have CCleaner which is configured to clear everything yet my PC still logs me into PH ok, plus all my other sites like hotmail etc etc .. if the cookies are cleared how does it know what my logins are? beats me! I think i have a static IP adress but not sure if that's the reason it *knows* who i am?? lmao. I'm on xp too ..

Thanks. I've already been through the cookie route but don't think that's where the thing lives. Anyone out there got a firm fix on this one?

I guess it depends what browser you're using, but for example using IE when it shows a drop-down menu of possible matches you can just put the mouse over an individual entry and hit the delete key to get rid of it.

I think its under the 'Tools' > 'Internet Options' menu on IE. Then click the 'Content' tab and select 'Auto Complete'. The settings on here allow you to clear/disable any saved forms.

Yep that's the one. Click on AutoComplete button and click "Clear Forms".
