Wireless networking

How much is the minimum I can expect to spend for a basic wireless network? It's for my parents, doesn't have to be flash, and is to enable their desktop PC to connect to an NTL set-top box (cable broadband). The maximum distance it would need to cover is 10-15 metres. I saw a half price package in PC World, but it came with a laptop card, rather than USB or PCI card.

Wireless router - lots of choice - say £40-60
Wireless card - say £15-30
If you spend more, you tend to get better instructions, better software etc.
