Trevor, the link you gave me seems to have a windows file of the same size iirc, and the same file name as greenV8S's link.

When I installed the file at GreenV8S's link, and ran setup, was told my modem wasnt plugged in (it was, I unplugged and plugged it back in) ended up rebooting and it installed ok.

When I ran the connection manager, I selected DSL as the means of connecting to the net. When I double click the connection icon i created, and click properties - it says im using an isdn modem.

Why do the drivers think im using an isdn modem Its awful not being on broadband, when Ive got my net problem sorted Im going to see whether or not Ive lost 18 months of data on the old machine but first I need to somehow get broadband working on the new pc - help. What can I try?
