Jeez, I've just spent all day putting together a spangly powerpoint presentation and realised I have no media on which to record it whatsoever, so I send an email to myself with the presentation attatched so that I can open it at work and use it. APART FROM THERE IS A FRIGGING LAG and none of my emails are landing in their inboxes. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?
diversion to hotmail central for virus scan can take ages for large attachments?
Does your IP provider not throw in some webspace in the deal? -
FTP it to there.....
fancy a gmail account? It'll send 10Meg and my PP stuff only takes seconds to come back through.
i have never come across a lag on hotmail, but as it has been posted above there might well be one for large attachments. normal emails arrive within a matter of seconds.
Probably a stupid question, but are you sure you got the address right?
