Just right click somewhere at the top near the back button etc, then click Address Bar

Has it been minimised ?

Try moving the cursor over the bottom of the toolbar until the resize arrow appears. Press and hold the mouse button and drag the cursor down..

Might have been moved to one side too, look for evidence of it being slid to the side or something, then drag it back...

Tried right clicking up to, then making sure Lock Toolbars in unchecked..

Then drag things round and it might appear.. No other reason it shouldn't be there otherwise..

You can also use View > Toolbars > Address Bar menu..

, use it all the time myself .
There are so many holes in IE security it's a full time job keeping it running, let alone use it, in my house (BB + 2 teeange boys ).

Another vote for Mozilla Firefox here...Been using it for ages and very impressed.

I was messing with Address Bars just now trying to recreate your problem (which I couldn't ) - its the first time I have run IE on my laptop for months and the bloody thing locked completely !!

Full three finger salute required - cheers, Bill
