Search engine entries

[the don]

Haven't seen it myself, but friend using google,
cant enter any text into the search box, only previous searches corresponding to the initial letter entered show up,
Is this cookies/history needs emptying,

or a newer version of IE needs installing

any ideas gratefully appreciated

Eh?

So the search text box gets focus, he hits a letter, he gets the drop down and then cant add anything more?

[the don]
