FTP Access by different users

Can I allow a number of users access to my ftp server?

My website is www.phillmanson.co.uk and i'll like to create an area for my mate Andy to use eg. www.phillmanson.co.uk/andy but although i trust him I don't want to allow him access to other parts of my site.

Also concerned with the security aspect so can I set him up different access that just allows him access to his part of the site?

it depends on the hosting account you have

its easy to assign users different permissions, and to chroot them to a different folder / disallow them access to other folders ON THE RIGHT SYSTEM.

Its all down to your host.. best to check with them..
