Can anyone give me a working, simple ASP page that simply sends the contents of a form via email - one that doesn't use CDONTS??

Ta muchly...

If not using CDONTS (why not btw) what componants do you have installed? Your example will depend very much on that....

CDO is definitely the way to do this....the code you need is just a few lines if you use it...

Otherwise you will need another library to do the job...

Not using CDONTS because I understand that it's deprecated and replaced by CDOSYS - is it basically the same kind of code as I understand CDONTS. On a purely practical level, the server the site is on doesn't have the CDONTS stuff installed and the host (mate) keeps forgetting to put it on.

Ah. But the server has some form of CDO on it? There are several flavours and so long as *one* of 'em is on there you should get a very similar API to write your routine in. "CDOEX" will always be on an Exchange server for example.

Do you need a CDO example? I can dig one up in an hour or so if you do...I've not got anything else handy sadly...
