My old iPAQ (about 3yrs old) is now failing to sync with my PC and to be frank, I think it's on its way out anyway. Does anyone have any recommnedations for a replacement? I think something that has Bluetooth & WiFi would be useful - Should I just buy another iPAQ?

I've had a few iPaqs over the years, but changed to an XDAIIi as I couldn't be bothered carrying around a phone, ipaq and ipod.....

I'm investigating an Acer one at the mo.

Nice & small, packaged with a GPS receiver for £140 + VAT.

I'll let you know...

I've got an Ipaq RX3715. Lovely piece of kit that does all your usual PDA stuff plus h a built in 1.3Mp camera, and Nevo built in so that you can ditch all your remotes and just use your PDA to control the lot.

It also looks good, and is relatively light so cn be carried in a shirt pocket.

Give the E-TEN M600 a try - excellent value and full-featured. eXpansys have then in stock.

Whatever you buy, make sure it is Windows Mobile 5.0 and not 2003 SE. The i-mate JASJAR (rebranded HTC Universal) is also quite funky.

(All of the above are smartphones not just PDAs)
