Region 0 DVD: can I play this?

"The dvd is region 0 so will play on any PAL DVD player.", so the UK based site said.

Will this UK DVD disc play on my 3 years ago player? The Netherlands . . . oh dear.

Region 0 means it should play in any DVD player, as it's not region locked at all...
