Dell Inspiron 1150 not charging

No wonder it's not charging, it's entered the twilight zone along with your post

Had my Inspiron 1150 for nearly a year now, over the past few months the charging cable has become looser and looser in the socket on the back of the notebook.

Its now got to the stage where it will not charge unless the notebook is swiched off and on its side (the only way to get a connection). If you wiggle the wire, it seems that the socket inside hte notebook is moving round.

If I take the notebook apart, what am I looking for..? or is there a quick fix.

Mailed Dell Support on Friday but no answer so far.
