Feckin IE CSS support blah blah blah etc.

I want to put a coloured border round a table or a div. Easy peasy, CSS, border=frame, job done... Until someone with IE looks at the site IE ignores the CSS and borders every cell in the table and ignores the outline colour/size.

What do you lot use for outlining when you want to keep cross browser compatability?

This works for me in Firefox and IE:

<html>
<head>
<title>Test</title>
</head>
<body>
<table style="border:1px solid black">
<tr><td>A</td><td>B</td></tr>
<tr><td>C</td><td>D</td></tr>
</body>
</html>

Thanks. It's a pain figuring out which CSS IE supports and which it doesn't Got round the min-width bug nicely though
