Been a complete a*se and broken my laptop (smashed the screen)

Anyone got a ballpark figure for having the screen replaced/repaired, compaq nc6120

Based in Bedfordshire so if anyone can recommend a repair shop in herts, beds, bucks and North London that would be smashing.

Cheers

Agreed. The last time I asked, Compaq wanted about 3 times the price of a whole new PC for the screen as a spare part. Sorry.

anyway of hooking it up to an external monitor as a work around? That way you can salvage it and use it a desktop pc instead while you buy a new laptop
