I am planning to build a website that changes it's appearance depening on the domainname that visitors used to get there.
How can I do that using ASP?

Would this help...... www.4guysfromrolla.com/webtech/080200-1.shtml and www.4guysfromrolla.com/webtech/072700-1.shtml

Personally I am a big fan of host headers. But you may need to own the server to change those. Also you may have to read your hosters small print if you are doing this on a hosted solution.

The second link is exactly what I needed.
Thanks!

I think the server is configured that way already.
Anyway, as the sites are hosted by my former employer, it's easy to get some special configurations done.

Another option that might be worth a look is detecting the domain name as in the second example, and just loading a different style sheet for the different domains.

Might work for your needs, might not, but worth a thought anyway.

After a bit of reading that is the way I'm planning to do it.
All content out of a database, because that too has to change depending on the domain name...

For me searching sometimes proves a bit troublesome, because I don't always know what a certain action is called.
I'm dutch you see...

I thought of what ASP means.
After a lot of programming I found out:

Always Some Problems

It's fun though, and not that hard if you've done some programming in Basic in the early years of computing...
(did a lot of that on an Apple //c)
