.Net 2.0 books

In the process of trying to tidy up and get rid of some of the crap I appear to have accumulated I have, of course, decided that I need to buy more books.

I spend the majority of my time being paid to code Java and rarely venture into the world of .Net but have dipped a toe here and there with C# and ASP.Net. I've read up on some of the bits added to .Net 2.0 and ASP.Net 2.0 and as I'm in the process of starting to look for a new job I've decided it's time to jump in and have a proper play.

So, armed with VS2005 and a bin liner full of books dating from the .Net 1.0 Beta 2 era, can anyone recommend some .Net / ASP.Net 2.0 (C#) books to add to my arsenal?

ASP.NET 2.0 for Dummies seems quite good.

Cheers Pete. I've ordered that (amongst a selection of others ) so will hopefully have a reason to mess about with it soon.

.NET 2005 books are few and far between (well good ones anyway).

i usually use MSDN and google

recently got visual C# 2005 recipes 'a problem solution approach' from Apress. seems ok nothing special though.

Cool, thanks. The Pro C# 2005 looks like a good book and I do tend to like Wrox books, but they want £6.66+VAT for delivery.

Luckily www.bookbrain.co.uk found it elsewhere for under £24 delivered.
