bear with me, not terribly PC.

just installed firefox browser, as its often mentioned as being superior to IE.

but notice straightaway, there doesn't appear to be the facility offered to autocomplete my e-mail address,
when filling in forms and such.

and spellchecker

I'm hoping they have their own version of it, but where would I best look for it

Tools menu, select Options

Click Privacy

Select the Saved Forms tab

Make sure the "Save information..." tickbox is ticked.

for autocomplete goto the Tools Menu -> Options & click the privacy option
On the Saved Forms tab, click the box & OK it. Should now autocomplete

For spell checker: http://wiki.ehow.com/Install-a-Spell-

hope that helps

argh, beaten to it when looking for the spellchecker link

View..Toolbars, then make sure "Navigation Bar" isn't ticked. Alternatively, right-click in the background of the address bar and deselect Navigation Bar from the pop-up menu.
