Connecting external mic to soundcard
Discussion
Hello All,
I have an audiophile 2496 soundcard, and a MXL Desktop Recording mic, which i want to use to mic up my guitar amp. The connector from the mic is a XLR male, or if i use an adapter a 3.5mm TRS miniplug.
My soundcard only has female RCA inputs, so what is the best way to connect my Mic to the soundcard? Is there a lead available which will do this?
Many thanks
Greg

They are out there (I have one at home) but I'm not sure where, probably Maplins. Not exactly audiophile quality but beggars can't be choosers and all that.
