I think my OH's laptop hdd is on the way out, judging by the noises it's making. Anyone any recommendations for good ghosting software? I may also need to encrypt it in case I can't free the space on my pc!

acronis or paragon - way better than Ghost.

Strangly I found that acronis would not boot the copied partition.

Ive only used Ghost but thats becuase I have 1 floppy with it on that has never failed. I have never needed to look at any other s/w.
