Type BULBS_001 in the first field
type BULBS_002 in the one below
and then position your cursor at the bottom right (sorry, first select the two fields) and then drag down.

Works for me (Excel 2003)

Sell them!

I can't believe i've been using excel for all these years and never realised you could just drag (stretch) data around like that. It's like I've just been shown CTRL+C for the first time!

OT question sparky, what do you think of your 530i? I was thinking of getting one instead of the 530D. Wanna sell it?

I bought a 51plate 530i Touring with autobox 12 months ago. I've done 14kmiles of mixed motoring and averaged 28mpg.
I test drove the petrol and diesel versions back to back and found the diesel experience just too 'diesely'. The economics didn't sway me either. Admittedly the diesel should do 25 -30% more mpg, but you've to do some serious mileage before you start to claw back the £2.5 to £3k price premium of a similar diesel car.

So it could take take you years of nasty clattering to see any gain.

Depreciation may be less with the diesel, but as postings on some BMW forums I frequent tend to show , diesels appear more likely to require expensive engine repairs than their petrol engined brethren.

Get the 530i. The 231bhp straight six is a pleasure to listen to.

I'm not selling mine - I like it far too much.

Have a browse on this forum http://forum.bmw5.co.uk/index.php?act

Plenty of info on 5 Series ownership there.

Thank you, you've confirmed all I had thought.
