I'm posting this here as you may be best placed to help.

Situation: I work from home and have two landlines. Line '1' is the private line and is used for outgoing calls, leaving the 'business' line '2' free for incoming calls. Line 1 has three handsets in all, and Line 2 just one.

I was looking for a phone for Line 1 that could take a cordless headset - so I don't have to spend hours with one hand stuck to the side of my head. So I was looking at phones that have headset sockets, eg the Panasonic 505, which you can add a Plantronics headset to.

Then I found this:
www.home-phones.co.uk/asp/product.asp?product=398&ph=search&keywords=NETCOM,6210&recor=1&SearchFor=any&PT_ID=all

Do you think it can really work with both lines and all handsets, even a £10 Audioline job? It seems too good to be true...

I have a plantronics dect cordless headset in the office.. it does exactly the same thing as this does, takes the output/input from the phone and pipes it to the headset..

As long as you can put it inline between you phone base and the handset, I don't see any reason why you couldn't use it.. (double check, see if you can unplug the handset from the base)..

HTH,
