Matt,

Do you know of any speakers than can be used/left out doors?

Thinking about mounting a couple outside on the patio linked into the hifi for parties over the summer. Hopefully to save me moving the existing speakers outside each time we have a bbq.

Or will I need to bring them in and out as required?

Cheers,

Phill

PS. Have you had any experience with Sonos?

Loads of external speaker options, from simple weatherproof normal speakers to speakers or enclosures that look like rocks.

I've had a play with the Sonos, smart little piece of equipment. Great option for retro-fit.

Cheers for that mate.

Hopefully over the summer i'll be fitting out a friends house in a similar fashion to what you do. Been having a look around www.automatedhome.co.uk for a few ideas and came across the Sonos.

I'd heard of it before but never seen one/read up on it. Does look like a tasty piece of kit, not cheap but as I know my friend isn't very good with technology but can work an iPod it might be the ideal solution for them!

I'll be dropping you an email in the next few weeks about what we talked about via email a few months ago. I finish uni on the 25th May!

Thanks,

Phill
