I have been using a HDD recorder that used to record well and the picture on the AV1 channel was very good. This machine went faulty so I have just installed a new one using the same gold plated scart cable (nearly new).
Now the picture on the AV1 channel is very poor with lots of wavy lines, the Tv picture is still good.
Any ideas what is wrong, is it the quality of the machine?
