Win XP Home, net drive pwds
Discussion
Stick the net use command in a batch file in the startup group?
net use x: \server\share /user:domain\administrator password
net use y: \server\share2 /user:domain\administrator password
net use z: \server\share3 /user:domain\administrator password

Win XP home, doesn't save network drive passwords, unlike XP Pro.
It doesn't? My XP Home box has a "reconnect at logon" tick box on the Map Drive popup, and it subsequently remembers the passwords....
(It is mounting a Samba share, not a "real" Windows one, but that shouldn't make any difference.)

It maybe this particular machine? It's pretty much as it was "out of box" install.
It remembers net drives at start-up but the option to remember passwords when inputting user & password isn't there. Hence having to do so every time.
Ahh, is this a "Share As .." type of drive, where you have to put in a username different to the one you logged into the machine as? I haven't tried that. My username on the Samba server is the same as on the XP box.
