As it says really. I will mainly be using it for photo editing but will also want to play a few games on it. Does anyone have any recommendations that aren't going to cost the earth. Cheers.

I think I'm going to have to find somewhere to have a decent look at some in the flesh. My job involves editing pics and if I buy a poo monitor I won't be happy. Cheers for the ideas fellas.

If your doing photo work, I'd take a serious look at the Apple stuff. They seem to have all sorts of certification from various groups about how acurate their monitors (or maybe it's the whole OS X + monitor?) are for displaying colours and vibrance stuff.

You will be shocked and amazed at how well their new Opticlear technology is. Fantastic for photo work

Or for widescreen:

Same opticlear tech, more goodies and widescreen

The 20 inch features 1600:1 contrast ratio and 6ms response time
