Firefox problems

Hi chaps,
dl'd the newest firefox version a week or so ago, and since, none of the setting stay. The search toolbar engines don't load, the bookmarks don't remain, etc. Anyone know what would cause this?

Try creating a new profile and see if that cures it.

Goto Start>run and type firefox.exe -profilemanager

From there you can create a new profile, set it as default and then restart firefox.

Cheers Dan... That seems to have sorted it! Just got to reinstall all the stuff onto this new profile now! Grrr

Slighly off topic, is anyone experiencing slow down in FF when scrolling past flash(?) items such as adverts on the forums?

Nope.. What adverts on the forums??? I hardly get any of that nonsense as I have noscript installed, so have to allow annoyances like that!

The ones that are slotted next to random posts on a page. I have tried looking at page in IE and it is a lot smoother.
