Hi all,

I have a Trojan Horse virus on my computer and have no idea how to remove it Norton has detected it but says acess is denied so how can I get rid of it?

Also what is a good free spyware remover?

Make a note of its location & delete it manually rather than through Norton.

I use Grisoft Adaware.

You have three options:

1) Learn more about how computers work than you ever wanted to know, struggle with the thing for a few days/weeks and either get it working, or wreck it completely.
or
2) Find somebody who already knows who's willing to sort it for you. You local paper probably has half a dozen ads for people who will do this for £10 - 20.
or
3) Reformat the disc and reinstall the operating system from scratch.

If you are running a recent OS then (3) is probably your easiest bet.

Y'know...I wondered about that too...but the site came recommended from an IT mate of mine.
