Hey people.

The a4 printer has decided to give up, have tried uninstalling, reseting but to no avail.
So it looks like i am going to have to get a new one

I do a fair bit of blowing up from a4 to a3, this can be expensive at £1 a sheet from the uni shop.

Question is, is it worth getting an a3 printer?

Anyone using one? Recommend any?

Any help appreciated

I've got a Canon i9950 and love it. Great depth of colour

It's either that or the Equivalent Epsom you want

that's the downside. seperate cartridges for the colour range. So If you print out loads of Sky shots for example, the CYAN drains quite fast. I've found you can source cheaper non-Canon cartridges that are just as good and alot cheaper.

Where did you find these? My only experience of non-original manufacturer cartridges is from the early 90's and the blacks were, at best grey but usually a funny shade of purple.

I'd be interested to know how to avoid spending £80 a throw at replacing my Epson ones.

Aye... I've got a CP1700 and a Business Inkjet 2600.

Both are very very good but I'd reccomend the 2600 if you can afford it - it's just a bit more solid!
