My step brothers lap top has the 'Polip' Virus, and I can't get rid of it!

Tried McAffee 2006 which is fully updated. It finds the virus but says it can't do owt with them.

Any ideas folks?

Download Stinger from here: http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/polips

Load up Windows into Safe Mode and run Stinger. Additionally ensure that System Restore has been turned off.
