Matlab Code <=> Excel VBA
Discussion
Had a user come up to me and ask the following:
They have some functionality that they created in Matlab a while ago. He now needs to use that functionality in Excel VBA. However it has been a while since they have dones any Matlab or VBA and as such is there an easy why to just convert the existing matlab code to VBA? I have never used Matlab so have no idea as to what kind of syntax it might use.
Any thoughts?
TIA

From what I remember of MatLab, it has a very C/C++ like syntax. VBA obviously has a very BASIC syntax.
So, as such, I'd say they're pretty incompatible as far as a quick port is concerned and it's almost certain there won't be a translator for going from one to the other.
You're going to need a spot of custom development from someone who knows both languages.
