Any collective assistence

Either I am looking for a chap to do an on site support session to my home PC - a new Mac

Or can any well help me gain an internet connection via a netgear modem and the airtunes (wireless card)

as you will have correctly surmised - I am not desperately It litterate - although I can setup via the menu systems.

I use wanadoo as my ISP - essentially wanadoo don't or won't give me a dhcp number - but when I set up via pppoe the hardware doesn't like it

Any suggestions - or a recommendation of a chap near haslemere who might do an on site support ?

Thanks all

The MacRumors forums (forums.macrumors.com) are very helpful too...

I can highly recommend the "Missing Manual" book for your flavour of OSX. About £20 for a nice, fat book, and takes you right through from "I am a thickie", and "I am used to Windows" to some quite serious stuff. Easy to read and dip into, and some really usefual tips on getting things how you want them.

a search on the macosx.com forum usually finds the answer for me!
