Dell M1710 - Do you rate it?

[razor]

I'm thinking of spending a stupid amount of money on a new desktop replacement and I'm very tempted to get the M1710. Has anybody got or even seen one of these machines "in the flesh"? It looks a bit bling, but apart from that has a pretty mouthwatering spec. How do you rate it (speed, keyboard, screen, sound etc)?

Have the M170 here, have an m1710 coming.

I fully loaded the specs, so has top everything.

only diff on the 1710 is 512mb 7900 instead of 256mb 7800 and Dual Core CPU

Go for the 7200 hdd, it makes data xfer a dream.. and go for 2gb Ram, doesnt get overly hot and speeds things right up.

17" screen is lovely too!

Change that to a 24" or 30" Dell screen and I'm with you all the way Jamie - I obviously need to buy a few more domains, etc. to assist with the PC fund!
