Automatically converting WMA to MP3
Discussion
I am in the process of re-encoding my CD collection into WMA's at 192K for use on my Media Centre and also thinking about getting a Squeezebox.
Now, my collection will be about 25Gb at this bitrate which will stop me putting a lot of it on my phone so I can listen to it on the train.
Is there a way to monitor my music folder and convert any new WMA's into MP3's at 96K automatically so I can put them onto a memory stick.

Yep.
Set an automated task to throw the WMA files at a transcoder and then delete the originals.
Schedule it to happen once a day/hour etc
You could script something up to monitor for new WMA files but using automated tasks is probably easiest.
That's the kind of thing I want to do but without deleting the original WMA and not re encoding all of the library.
