I am possibly looking for a windows dedicated server to host a couple of websites, our company database and some other stuff!!!

Any suggestions, by e.mail preferably, would be most useful.

Don't think he does windows.

When you say company database, what exactly do you mean, I get very nervous about storing anything sensitive remotely, as even if you know what you're doing lock down wise you're still on the same sub net as god know who.

I'd look at SDSL and do it in house if budget useage and on site expertise permits.

He can, or at least it was available when I was trying to persuade the company I work for to use ServerStream

Dedicated Servers we do anything with, Windows / Mac / Solarix / Linux / BSD / Debian / Slackware / You Name It.

Reccomended by 41 PH'rs
www.Register1.net/servers.php click Order and play around with the options

Reccomended by 16 PH'rs
www.Serverstream.net/windows.html if you need a 2 hour Hardware SLA and 24/7 Telephone support / High Availability Kit / Redundent Kit etc.

Drop me a mail if you need more details.

Ah fairplay Jamie, sorry about that. You should make it a bit more obvious as I did have a quick look round the site and missed it.

The VDS's are all Linux, the Dedicated Servers are windows (and list windows on the main page heheh)

back atcha, butI really did have to look for it once told.

Unless I'm being really stupid (which I'll concede happens alot) I can't see anything on the homepage, and under designated it's only mentioned in the RAID options and as an option under OS, which really doesn't stand out.

FWIW I think you could be missing out on some quite lucrative business because of that, but hey, I can see that you probably wouldn't any more MS boxes in your racks than necessary

It's all money.. I cant see how I can make it more prominent without splashing Windows Logos around, which then makes the Linux crowd nervous as they worry they they aren't getting enough exposure, which then means sticking a penguin or two on the page, which then upsets the BSD crowd who are upset about Windows and Linux getting all the PR, so before you know it I have Windows, a Penguin and a Devil.. and then the Debian crew bash my ear

Seriously tho, any comments happily taken on board.

Maybe getting too picky now, but:
On the Dedicated Servers page it says "Enterprise Server for £49 per month" and describes the OS as "Linux/Windows", which kind of gives the impression that £49 gets you a dedicated server running your choice of Linux or Windows - slightly misleading that when you get to the 'Order now' page the cheapest Windows option is £60 per month.

That's still a reasonable price, and I'm not knocking it, but it would be more accurate if the first page said "from £49 per month".

You can supply your own Windows license if you wish, which removes the cost
