It will be set on both mate.

Who is your email account with? hotmail, bt or someone else, you will need to find their website and check their limit.

You will also need to check the limit of the recievers account i.e. his company/email provider will only accept emails upto a certain size.

Our company policy which is set on the gateway is 15mb.

Hi, Kev
I'm not too sure, I've been checking through Tiscali help files but so far found nowt.. but it's likely to be about 10MB, or 15MB maximum file size limit..

Try something like www.yousendit.com
That should sort you out with larger files

I've never used one before, but there are many free file hosting services out there. Here is one example:

I don't know what the limit is, but I've transferred large files using Skype. It's not very quick (especially if you're talking at the same time), but it does the job.

Edited to add: I just looked at the Skype file transfer FAQ, and the size is limited only by the recipients free HDD space!

You could do things like serving the file from your own computer...

You just run a single program then send the other person a web address to go to, where they can download the file straight from your computer same as a file from the web.
(The speed will be limited to your upload speed though, but about 25MB shouldn't take long.

Gimme an email if you fancy giving it a go.
