TV to PC? PC to TV?

I've recently managed to get my old PC working again after a year of brokeness.
What I'd like to know is - is there a way of hooking it up to my TV, so that I can watch TV and play PS2 with the sound coming through the PC's surround sound system? And watch old DivXs/browse the net on the TV?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Should be possible unless both PC and Telly are very old.

Tell us a bit more about the back of the vga card and the telly input options.

The only way to get 5:1 sount out of a PS2 is via the optical out, so You'll need an optical IO card for the PC.

Any ATI "all in wonder" card will do the TV out thing.
