problems accessing radio 2 website
Discussion
Hi all you experts, Now before you all say that I shouldn't be listening to radio 2..... I am in their target audience age group, OK!
Anyway, I am having problems accessing their website (as I want to Listen again to a show). It is only a a recent thing and I have no trouble accessing the general BBC radio site or other radio station sites, but when I click on Radio 2 (or Radio 3 or site map pages) I just get a blank screen and the "Done" word in the bottom left of screen. It gives me a blank screen on listen now, too. Any ideas? I know I havn't blocked the site in the firewall and I am completely stumped...!!!
Thanks, in advance. Cheers, Jon

Hi, me yet again.... This is a follow up question (poss for uncledave?). I have done some googling and have found a BBC radio homepage which says it is a "frames-free" version as it seems I am not alone in having this problem, which now works. What I really want to know is what does this mean (frames-free) and is there a fix for my pc as it used to work with the proper page. link here www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/index_noframes.shtml
thanks, Jon

I'm not sure how that would solve the problem really, but frames free is pretty much a basic version of the page..
If a page has got frames, it loads multiple pages into one.. if you know what I mean
The frameless page is all one thing...
So the problem could be a problem with browser...? Frameless pages are usually used for simple browsers like the ones on mobile phones nowadays I think.
Dave.

cheers for your reply, uncledave. It has solved the immediate problem as when I load the frames-free page, then click on a link, it then opens a new page to a particular show. However, as you rightly say, the page is a much simplified version, without the search function I was after to listen to a previous show. Ah well, can't have it all, as they say!
