mp3 batch encoding software?
Discussion
Right then, I have lots of music on my computer, all encoded at a relatively high bit rate (so an album is typically taking up 40 MB+. This is all fine for storing on my computer and mp3 player as they have lots of storage, but I'm wanting to put some on my phone to listen to. This doesn't have as much memory as my mp3 player, or as good headphones so I'm after some software that will lower the bit rate of a batch of mp3s.
Right-Click mp3 fits the bill perfectly but none of the download links I've tried work for it, does anyone have a copy of this or know of similar software that will do what I'm after?

iTunes will do it. You can specify a library to import from and then tell it to keep the originals.
Not totally sure, but if you encode something using iTunes, won't it convert it using crappy DRM and stop you using it anywhere other than iTunes? (Hence making some MP3 players useless)

You can set iTunes to encode in AAC, AIFF, Apple lossless, MP3 and WAV.

Nope - the problem is with music downloaded from itunes music store - but even that can be worked around.
