xbox 360 and region 0 discs

Hi all,trying to play some region 0(free) discs with my xbox 360 but they're really juddery
Does anyone know if this is normal or can check so i can finally watch my Goodwood Revival Meeting DVD.

Have you downloaded the update?

I have noticed burnt disks are juddery(before the update) whereas originals are ok.
