how to get multi-access email

[tvrgit]

I am setting up a little web site for a small campaign group, and we want emails to be accessible by say 3 admins - ie any of the 3 can see all incoming and replies.

Now I could set up webmail with the domain host but I don't want to tell the others the user and password for the site because I don't want them changing it. Besides, I have other sites hosted there and don't want them to be vulnerable either. So host-based webmail is out.

Is there a third-party webmail product (preferably free) where i can set up a user and password specific to the email account?

I suppose hotmail could do it but I want to use the domain email address for incoming and replies.

Got a spare machine?

Run Outlook on that pointing it at [e-mail] and have an agent which forwards the mail to the individual users

Or just use an IMAP mailbox
